Onomichi Hanpu (Canvas)
Hanpu is a thick cloth used for the sail of ships. This cloth is tailored and made into fashionable items such as bags, purses, and hats. It is popular especially among ladies since it is strong and long lasting.

Onomichi Eau de Parfum
Eau de Parfum is the original perfume that "Shiseido" and Onomichi jointly developed. Cherry blossoms selected as the city flower of Onomichi is motifs of the flavor, and it is in high popularity as soon as it comes into the market. You cannot find it anywhere else since it is an area limited product. There are some also other manufactured goods based on cherry blossoms such as facial oil blotting paper and sachet.

Onomichi Ramen
Onomichi Ramen as a souvenir. Many shops produce the original flavor of ramen. It is well worth its reasonable price as a souvenir. It will be fun to compare the different tastes after returning home.


Local Sake, Shionohibiki (Japanese Sake)
This is Onomichi brand local sake. Since this sake is known for its rich flavor and smooth taste, it is highly recommended to the sake beginner. Alcoholic content is 15.8%


Dried Fish and Seafood
There are many dried seafoods other than debera (dried halibut) such as sea eel, octopus, dried sardine and others. Your appetite will be satisfied with these. Since dried sefood contains a lot of calcium, it is especially beneficial for children and elderly people. As dried foods last long, it makes a good for a souvenir.

Debera (Dried Halibut)
Debera is dried bastard halibut that are hanged on a rope under the sun. It is one of Onomichi's typical winter sights. Debera is too hard to eat itself, so we use a hammer to break the bones and then roast it. You can enjoy the taste in various ways such as a topping on rice, with green tea, or put a fin in Japanese sake.

Citrus Fruits
The fruits such as "hassaku" that is an original product of Innoshima, "domestic lemon" that is an original product of Setoda, and "koune mikan" that is known as a high grade orange are juicy and much sought after. Various products made from these citrus fruits are also recommended including the jelly and the seasoning. There are some other unique products such as lemon noodles and rice cake stuffed with hassaku.
